While clients receive the physical canvas or high-resolution digital files for their personal use or display, the artist retains the right to display, publish, and promote the work in portfolios and social media channels. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute the artwork for commercial purposes without obtaining prior written consent and appropriate licensing agreements from our studio. We respect the original vision you bring to us, and in return, we ask that you respect the creative efforts and copyright status of the original artist during and after the completion of your commission.
To initiate a commission, clients must provide clear project requirements, reference materials, and specific aesthetic preferences during the initial consultation phase to ensure accurate results. Once the project scope is finalized, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in our studio production schedule, which helps cover material costs and administrative time. We will provide regular updates during key milestones of the creative process to confirm that the work aligns with your expectations, allowing for collaborative progress. Projects are considered confirmed once the deposit is received, and timeline estimates are provided based on the complexity and scope of the commissioned work, ensuring both parties are prepared for the upcoming artistic journey.
All prices for our artistic services are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change based on project complexity, size, and material requirements. Full payment for the remaining balance is due upon the final approval of the completed artwork before the item is shipped or the digital file is transferred. We accept various payment methods as discussed during the consultation phase, and all payments must be cleared before the release of final high-resolution deliverables. In the event of project cancellation by the client after work has commenced, the initial deposit is forfeited to compensate for the time and resources invested in the design. We include a specific number of revision rounds in every commission package to ensure the final product meets your satisfaction without incurring additional fees. These revisions typically cover adjustments to colors, minor composition changes, or detail refinements, but do not include complete redesigns or fundamental changes to the original agreed-upon concept. If additional changes beyond the included rounds are requested, they will be billed at an hourly rate determined by the studio based on the complexity of the task. For physical canvas paintings and murals, we take extensive measures to ensure your artwork is packaged securely using protective, acid-free materials to prevent damage during transit. While we partner with reliable shipping providers to ensure your piece arrives safely, Quincy Artist is not responsible for any damage occurring during the shipping process, though we provide full tracking and insurance assistance. For digital commissions, we transfer final files through secure, encrypted platforms to maintain image quality and data integrity. Upon receiving your physical artwork, please inspect the package immediately and report any transit-related issues to our support team within twenty-four hours of delivery so that we may assist you accordingly.
Our studio makes every reasonable effort to ensure that the colors, textures, and details of the final artwork match the agreed-upon digital previews, though slight variations may occur due to the nature of hand-painted materials. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use or display of our artwork, nor are we responsible for any damage to walls or surfaces related to mural installations. By commissioning work from Quincy Artist, you acknowledge that artistic expression is subjective and that while we strive for your complete satisfaction, we cannot guarantee specific subjective interpretations or outcomes. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the region in which Quincy Artist operates, specifically within the jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Chennai. By choosing to work with us, you agree that you have read, understood, and consented to these legal terms, which are intended to protect both the artist and the client throughout the duration of the professional creative relationship.
